Dr. Semira Issa is an esteemed academician within the Radiology department of Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital (TASH) in Ethiopia, the nation’s largest tertiary referral hospital. She is a diagnostic radiology specialist and an Open Medical Institute (OMI) fellow. She is currently pursuing a fellowship in body imaging sub-specialty and she aspires to introduce interventional radiology services within the institution. Dr. Issa, in addition to her role as the secretary of the department’s research and publication team, she has taken on the responsibility of leading the ultrasound team within the radiology department which brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Driven by a vision of establishing an independent and highly efficient imaging center equipped with cutting-edge technology, her goal is to ensure patients receives the utmost care and attention. Dr. Semira joined Ayzosh Inc. during its foundation because she was inspired by the core values in the organization which is centered in improving the quality of health care for the less privileged by strengthening diagnostic services, which is an area often overlooked and empowering health care workers.
